The routing demonstrates venue relationships and market confidence built across the entire career: Mission Ballroom in Denver (3,900 capacity), Brooklyn Steel in New York (1,800), Revolution Hall in Portland, The Showbox SoDo in Seattle, History in Toronto, KOKO in London, Vulkan Arena in Oslo, Nalen in Stockholm, Huxley’s in Berlin, Roxy in Prague, Melkweg in Amsterdam. These are not first-time bookings in unfamiliar rooms. They are venues where the audience has been established across multiple previous appearances and where the promoter relationships support the kind of advance coordination that makes the production work smoothly.
The return from five years off the road — the pandemic cancellation of the Simulcast tour, the limited post-COVID runs of 2021 and 2022 — tested whether the infrastructure had survived the interruption. The booking relationships at CAA, the management coordination through Another Planet Entertainment, the Franco partnership, the band’s musical cohesion after years of reduced touring intensity: all of it had to reassemble into a functioning production operation for the Infinite Health launch.
It reassembled. The shows sold. The production operated. The reviews from the opening leg noted the seamless, highly immersive quality of the production — the massive LED wall serving as the primary canvas for Hansen’s new visual architecture, the lighting design working in absolute tandem with the screen content, the physical smoke effects and abstract lighting patterns that bleed from the image into the three-dimensional space of the venue. The European leg in spring 2025 finally executed the routing that the canceled Simulcast tour had been designed for, completing a journey that had been interrupted for five years by circumstances no touring operation could have anticipated.
The touring operation that puts Tycho on those stages is not glamorous in the way that the mythology of live music might suggest. It is logistics and contracts and technical riders and van loads and soundchecks and settlement disputes and the daily unglamorous work of moving a production from city to city without losing anything and without breaking anything. But underneath all of that infrastructure, the purpose is consistent with what the first shows in Sacramento were trying to accomplish: making the music feel as vast and immediate in a room full of strangers as it does in headphones at 2 AM. The infrastructure exists to serve that purpose. The people who build it, night after night, understand this. It is, finally, why they are there.
